Recurring Events

All the events listed below will take place during the primary timeslot (except where noted), which is 10am SLT/Pacific (1pm Eastern, 6pm UK, 7pm Western Europe)

• Tuesday
  • MICA Computational Science Discussion Group every Tuesday at 10 am SLT in the MICA Conference Room on StellaNova
  • Every Tuesday at 7am SLT, the MODEST Workshop, a weekly workshop on N-body and related simulations (MICA auditorium)
• Wednesday:
  • Monthly on Wednesday at 9am SLT: Relocatable Laboratories in the Metaverse (ReLaM), a weekly workshop on building scientific laboratories in virtual worlds (Kira Dome, (Ulreung Half)
  • 1st Wednesday of the month: Advisory Council mtg. (closed, AC only) at the MICA conference room.

• Friday:
  • Every Friday : MICA Professional Seminar / Journal Club usually in the small amphitheater on StellaNova.

• Saturday:
  • On Saturday every week 'Dr.Knop talks Astronomy' popular talks at 10am SLT/Pacific time in the large amphitheater on StellaNova.

Standard Events Time and Place

• The primary timeslot for MICA events is at 10am SLT/Pacific (1pm Eastern, 6pm UK, 7pm Western Europe).
• A secondary timeslot is at 7pm SLT/Pacific (10 pm Eastern, 11am Japan, 10am China, 1pm Australia).
• All MICA events are held on StellaNova; exactly where within the region will vary.
